Return to listOn March 15th, the 2nd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo Promotion and Sino foreign Enterprise Exchange Conference was held in Beijing. At the event, 46 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions, including Cargill Investment (China) Co., Ltd., Bosch (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and the American Soybean Export Association, signed contracts to participate.
Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, pointed out in his speech that the Chain Expo is the world's first national level exhibition with the theme of supply chain. The China Chain Expo is held to respond to the call of the times and create an international platform that promotes communication, deepening cooperation, and common development among all parties. The second Chain Expo will be held from November 26th to 30th this year, and all preparatory work has been fully launched. At present, more than 160 domestic and foreign enterprises have confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
The reporter learned from the event that the second Chain Expo will add an "Advanced Manufacturing Chain" exhibition area and hold a special exchange meeting on advanced manufacturing industry on the basis of maintaining the original chains and exhibition areas of the first Chain Expo.
After extensive research and verification, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has decided to add an "advanced manufacturing chain" to the exhibition areas for intelligent automotive chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, healthy living chain, and supply chain services at the first Chain Expo. The advanced manufacturing chain exhibition area will focus on new quality productivity, showcasing the global advanced manufacturing industry chain from front-end research and development design, new material application, key component processing to intelligent manufacturing from all angles and perspectives.
On site, representatives from multiple Chinese and foreign companies also shared their successful experiences of participating in the first Chain Expo. They stated that the Chain Expo is a high standard, high-quality, and high-level global economic and trade event. In the future, they will actively participate in the second Chain Expo with greater investment, higher quality image, and richer product technology content, making the supply chain a "win-win chain" for international cooperation.
On that day, more than 300 people attended the event, including foreign embassies in China, international organizations, foreign business associations in China, Chinese and foreign enterprises, media, and representatives from the national trade promotion system.
